A sexy cover that was specifically requested that NEEDED to be sexy... for marketing purposes im told...and they told me again, it has to be eBas sexy so dont do porn, but dont hold back...so im like, i dont even have to roll up my sleeves for that...

for my regular watchers...u will remember how much i hate drawing faces...this one was an exception, i had my mojo in full gear here...i purposely wanted to try something different...not easy to do.....most layman's will say..."oh that guy sucks cause he draws the same faces all the time" idiots!! in our industry u need to establish and maintain a style so that its recognizable to the viewers in hopes to gain a fanfollowing.....most ppl say that they can spot an eBas face a mile away...i tell them, i am very good looking and get that a lot...he... no seriously, they tell me its the eyes or lips and such...this time i wanted to play with features more...

the queens nose for example, is more button like and way longer than the way i normally draw them...and her eyes are further apart from one another but not too much to scare ppl away...and a thinner upper lip ( well thinner for me) and a filtrum unlike alice, who doesnt appear to have one..which are lips i like to kiss...er draw...

alice's nose is rendered a lil diff too...along with her cheeks...i tried the manga thing where they draw lines across a face from cheek bone to cheek bone...i liked it and its subtle that most wont even notice...cause they are trying to figure out where her hand is going...hehe...pervs!

with alice's posture and body language i think the vulnerable look was accomplished....the eye brows help along with the shoulders pulled inward...with the open mouth giving the illusion of a exhale all work together to portray that..at least imo...the hands on her own legs is there for sex appeal only....that the queens hand on her thigh is doing just that...turning her on..

the queen however is much different... while her shoulder appears high is because her weight is supposedly on that arm while the other arm is being used to seduce alice with her hand on her thigh...the eyes peaking over her shoulder along with her ever so slight smirk gives the queen the body language that..she indeed, has the confidence to seduce her...

it seems that i keep getting away with doing what i want with womans attire...i just GAVE the queen legs...cause in the comic she has none....in place of her legs is her siamese sister...disgustingly awesome...so i gave her legs only for the purpose of showing a lil of that ASS....go ass!!

i also took the liberty to make up as much of her outfit that i didnt remember off hand....like her gloves...had no clue as to what they looked like...and since she doesnt have legs, i made up the heart design on the leggings...

it is important to remember texture...there isn't much here, but in the darker material outfit the queen wears.. i put a lot more black and rendering to make sure that even in black and white...you can tell her dress is a darker color than alices' .....cause alices' dress has no black rendering on it...

i tried a diff design for the layout as well...i have a wall of grass that i used to frame and separate the figures from the weird floating heads in the back....unfortunately it was all colored green so u dont get that separation....

tilting of heads...the mad hatter's head is tilted down as most villians do when they are in the still shot in the movie just b4 they begin to walk slowly to kill you....and tilted up is calie (upper right), alice's daughter to help with the "trance" look...and the lack of expression as well
