Spread Eagle

this is a high end commission ($700) of the white queen done with "copic sketch markers" warm and cool grays only ...surprisingly its my very first solo one of her. back when my commissions were in pencil emma was my most popular request...dont know how black cat jumped WAY up to the #1 spot.

this was requested by a spanish fellow and he was a lil shy about asking for a ranchy piece. but when i told him im not that shy and that its just art...he came out of his shell and was like...go all out...and so i did.

i had an idea that many a female would raise all hell over the polar bear rugs...which was my idea...but i think its fitting with the tone of the piece and said to hell wit it and put em in. they were a lot of fun to do. i dont think ive ever done a bear b4 in marker...so it was interesting learning the fur techniques as i went along.

skin tone is always hard to do with markers for me cause i HATE leaving streaks and rendering wide open spaces is never easy.
