Diamond Pussy

when ever a cartoon character has a really good idea, they get that light bulb over their head. well that was me when i drew this.... back when i did pencil con commish's, white q was my fav character to render...but when i changed formats and used color she quickly fell to the bottom of my list. and i dont feel its fair to charge someone for color when the character has NO color... its in her name..."white" queen! so i try to discourage the customer. there's only so many ways u can draw this character in a convention sketch.

light bulb moment... DIAMOND PUSSY!!! this pic is quickly becoming one of my faves just so i can say "diamond pussy" ...it just rolls off the tongue. i was happy with the diamond fade into flesh... a pretty cool effect me thinks

for those of u that are not familiar. at comic conventions ppl bring me these blank comic covers for me to draw on... poor bastard has to wait in my line from beginning to end for one of these. and its takes about 3 hrs to do. and the guy behind him has to now wait 6 hrs in all, if he's 2nd in line....i stand the whole time and give my chair to them... i know this sounds cruel and unusual but if they dont stand in my line, i goof around and have fun and it never gets done. so its in their best interest. one of these cost $500 to get now...i can only do about 2-3 per show now. i know it sucks.

done with cool gray and warm gay copic markers only. i dont ink the hair or fur and only use a light pencil outline to darken some of the lines in the hair to help with that golden effect.
